Using the 'Alt' key on TileMap to copy/paste tiles is a great time saver, I use it all the time.
I was wondering if it's possible to add e.g. a Shift + Alt combination that would copy the selected tiles from ALL layers, then paint it on all layers. This would be awesome as I got about 5 layers in my TileMap now, and if I want to copy e.g. a house, I need to go over all the 5 layers and copy them separately to get all the pieces (as I got a ground layer, ground overlay, items layer, wall layer, wall overlay etc.).
Thanks!

Yeah, I'll sort that out in a future update. The code already supports it, just not exposed in the interface.

Ah, awesome, thank you! :D

Hi,
Has this feature been added yet? Is there a way to add support for selecting multiple layers for copy/paste even if it is a temporary workaround in code until full support is made available?
Thanks,

I'll look into this after 1.80 is released officially. Just a couple more tiny bugs and docs to complete.

I know this is a bit old, but i would like to up this as well...
My tilemaps are something like 4 to 6 layers, and copy/paste from multiple layers would be great.

The tilemap editor will get a bit more love soon....

Has this feature been added? This would really streamline editing on a project i'm currently working on

I can't remember! This was from 3 years ago, and I can't find much in the logs, but... from what I see in the code it doesn't look like its there, but if you still need it register your copy and post in the private support forum, I'll be happy to post a fix.
