Support / Question before purchasing regarding modifying the toolkit

Hey there, I've been reading a lot of forum posts and through the documentation. I have a few questions before I purchase. Can the tile map maker code be customized if I purchase it? For example, I plan on making a more larger tile based map, which may require occlusion culling to hide non-viewable areas, is this possible?
Can all other aspects of this toolkit be edited and customized? The reason is that while the 2d toolkit seems great, for the game I'm making we may have to modify it to customize to our needs. Nonetheless, it seems like a great tool and would save us time from starting from scratch.
