Title: Lost Sprite Collections and Sprite Animations

I have a situation where all of my Sprite Collections and Sprite Animations have become corrupted. The result is that the Spite Collections having missing image links to the underlying textures. What caused this so I don't have to go through this again?

Do you have meta files turned on in Unity?
Did you share the project via Dropbox / etc?
