hello to all,
first of all congratulations for the software, I find it easy to use and a valuable resource.
However, I am experiencing several problems: unity crashes when, just opened, I click on an object of the 2d toolkit. If I click before on a normal GameObject then I can select all without crashing.
I tried to re install both Unity and 2d Toolkit, to rebuild the index from both command and deleting by hand, but the situation is still the same.
I thought of live with that but today I created a new project importing 2d Toolkit from the start. The project crashed on startup, every time. I have deleted it and created another project and now it crashes when I import a new copy by the Asset Store.
a hand please? ^^
sorry for my english, I'm italian.

What version of Unity, and 2d Toolkit are you using? This sounds like something may have been corrupted somewhere...
-
Thank you for your fast reply ^^
Both are at the last version, my s.o. is Windows 8.1
-
Can you give me the version + build numbers please? I can only test if I know exactly which version we're dealing with.
Where specifically does it crash? Straight away? Importing something specific?
-
I forgot about that... it crashes in two different situations:
1. when I click on a tk2d gameobject if it's the first gameobject clicked
2. when it's importing tk2d. it says "TK2DROOT\tk2d_demo\democameradata\source\window.png"
I apologize for my ignorance... how do I find build numbers? I didn't see it on the asset store except for 2d toolkit 2.2.3.
unity is at the 4.2.2f1

Can you register your copy here
http://2dtoolkit.com/forum/index.php?index.php/topic,34.0.html
And try the version downloaded from this website?
-
Done, I'm in "Approval Pending"

it seems to work, thanks a lot!
re-downloading it from the asset store didn't work, I don't understand why...
-
How did you redownload from the asset store? Did you delete it?
Its annoying that corrupted download can cause issues with asset store downloads - it really doesn't give the best impression :(
-
yes, I deleted it manually once, then I re imported it from the asset store and it didn't work.
I tried also reimporting it without deleting it and it didn't work.
downloading from this site and importing it simply clicking on the new file resolved it
