Title: Flipped text from font within Sprite Collection
Post by: ByteSizedWombat on November 08, 2012, 05:14:26 am
I have created a bmp font using Hiero and imported it into Unity.

If I try to create a font from the files created by Hiero it works perfectly once I check the Flip Y option.

However if I try to create a font within an existing sprite collection using the same settings the text appears upside down. Un-checking the Flip Y option in the sprite collection has the expected result of printing gibberish to the screen.

While not a huge issue considering I can always just use the separate font, I was wondering if anyone can tell me if I've missed something to make this function as expected or is this a bug?

Thanks

Hi there,
This is likely to be a bug. Conveniently, I just fixed another issue with the font importer and am about to do another release soon (today/tomorrow). If you could send me an email with this font (support@unikronsoftware.com) that would be great, as I could test the code with the flipped before releasing, and fix any issues.

No worries, I've sent you a zip file containing the font texture and .fnt info.
