Support / Atlas Generator for 3D Meshes?

Hello,
can i use the atlas tool to generate materials for 3D meshes?
after creating multiple matarials inside the atlas tool, i need the offsets of the selected textures (always 0)
i could add it by hand, but after changing something to the atlas the offsets could be wrong?
in short:
i've multiple textures for my 3d meshes and i want to use the atlas tool to combine all.
