Take the normal progress bar prefab and rotate it 90degrees to make it vertical.

There is way to create progress bar from spite. When i convert clipped sprite to sprite, progress bar doesn't work (

Once you convert you need to assign it to the attached component in the appropriate slot.

I was trying to think how to make a vertical progress bar, and thinking I was going to have to write my own, until I saw your simple obvious answer: rotate it.  Doh!  How did I not think of that!
