Animated Sprite Play and Move..

Greetz,

Great tool but i'm still a noob.. I did manage to make me a nice animated sprite, a little hovering guy.. Now my question is how do i let the animation play when i press a key and stop the animation when i release the key.. It's a 2d scene, is there someone with a little script that can control my little guy.. HE can move up, down (gravity) and left and right..
