Wrestle Jump - A two player game on a single iPad/iPhone

Hi!

My first own game, Wrestle Jump was released today!
Wrestle Jump is an easy to learn two player on a single screen! Your goal is to smash your opponent's head to the ground to score points.

Everything from all the sprites and texts to menu UI buttons are made with 2D Toolkit! Thanks Unikron!

Wrestle Jump is currently 8th on the Top Paid iPhone Apps in Finland and has received lots of positive feedback.

haha, I love it! Shown it to my colleagues and it became a hit, lovely and funny design!  I am wondering, how did you manage to do those outlines? Are they heavy to process?

The outlines are actually just black sprites under the main sprites, like this:

Wow this looks superfunny, and I love the simple and effective concept. Any news of a port to Android?

Izitmee, thanks! (And sorry for the delayed answer...) I still haven't got my hands on any Android devices. Actually, I'm thinking that Ouya might be the first Android device I'm going to support

Woooo! I played it! It's simply awesome! I'm serious here: it's incredibly fun! But it screams for a level editor! Any plans to do that?

I agree a level editor would be awesome in WJ (at least for us gamers). Then again it'd have to be super simple. I don't think I'm going to change the game that much for now but it'll probably be the new feature of Wrestle Jump 2 if/when I make a sequel. Currently I'm working on a new game, using 2D Toolkit for this one also

What new game (if it's not too soon to talk about that)? Wrestle Jump is so simple yet so addictive that it's pure genius (I'm usually an enthusiastic guy, but in this case I'm overly impressed), so now I'm supercurious about other games

Hahah, thanks!! Well actually it is a bit too early to talk about this one (I don't even have a finished prototype yet), but what I can tell is that it's going to have Wrestle Jump like silly physics and it's also about a sport I know nothing about
