Adjust color on individual characters in a textMesh
« on: August 08, 2012, 06:51:06 pm »
Is there any way to adjust the color (through code) of individual characters in a textMesh? I'm looking for a random fade-in effect and have it working nicely on an entire textMesh, but would love to be able to do it on individual characters.

Thanks.

Love the toolkit, btw.

You can't do that yet, its coming in a future release. In the mean time though, you can use the gradients feature with solid swatches instead of gradients to store colors.

Edit: This is the post where I discussed my plans on this - http://unikronsoftware.com/2dtoolkit/forum/index.php/topic,476.0.html

This question worries me, too. But when you click on the link (http://unikronsoftware.com/2dtoolkit/forum/index.php/topic,476.0.html), an error occurs:
